Merging Article Marketing with Affiliate Marketing

The most basic trick in making money for business owners is to have an effective marketing strategy through the use of advertising. In fact, these two terms, marketing and advertising, are so interconnected with each other that they may be used interchangeably. Amongst the oldest types of advertising is through the print media, and one of the most effective of these print media advertising is through article marketing. With this day and age, this strategy has been brought to the worldwide web through affiliate marketing. How is article marketing done? In essence, article marketing is done through posting an advertisement in print media by way of an article introducing and explaining the product or service offered by a business. Or sometimes, these businesses just make an article in relation to the product or service that they have and give this to publishers as fillers for their pages, sort of like article contributors. When the article is published, it would be instant advertising for the company. An example of this would be from a mobile phone service provider company contributing an article about how mobile phones have positively changed the society, as the author of the article the name of the company with its business address will be credited. The best part, for both the advertiser-business and the publisher, is that this set up is free for them. The business article-contributor posts the article without being charged by the publisher for advertising costs while at the same time the publisher receives an article without having to pay for the professional fee of the author. The more interesting the articles are, the more people would want to read the article. Hence, more readers would buy the print media and more readers would be potential clients of the business. Merging an already affective strategy with a new technology With the increase in the reliance of people to the internet, another of the strategies in making money for businesses is to utilize this reliance to their advantage. Almost every website out there will have an advertisement within one of its frames, or for better attention grabbing a pop-up window is used. This is what is termed as affiliate marketing. The website owner is the publisher in this case or the affiliate of the business posting, or the merchant or brand, its advertisements or articles. Hence, the efficaciousness of article marketing is enhanced by the far-reaching capabilities of affiliate marketing. This merge is what is called by some as online marketing. However, for every referred client of the affiliate to the merchant, a certain cost is paid to the former, similar to being paid in commission basis. This relationship is similar to simple advertising contract but the price depends on how effective the marketing capability of the affiliate is. The more people it is able to convince to become clients of the brand or merchant, the more the merchant profits and the more is paid to the affiliate. This dependency on the number of people referred is what primarily differentiates it with plain and simple advertising contract between an advertiser-business and an advertising company. Businesses who wish to maximize their efforts in making money should consider and try out article marketing with the further help of affiliate marketing. Business owners will never go wrong with this marketing strategy.
