Make Money Online Niche Marketing

Want to make money online with niche marketing, but don't know how? Keyword research, how to go about it? Let me help you with some of the basics.

There are thousands of niche markets, complete with customers who are "ready to buy"! Niches with "ready to buy" visitors is where the money is at, and there are thousands of them ready to be exploited. To make money with your niche blog you need to give your visitor something they really want or need. Many times your visitors are just looking for additional information and many of them will be willing to buy that info.

Choosing a niche in which you have some interest or even expertise is a good idea. If you're going to work at this you may as well get some enjoyment out of it. No matter what your interest-there will probably be a related niche that could be profitable.

Finding niche markets should always begin with keyword research, finding and using the best keywords can make or break the profitability of a niche blog. If you were searching for info on "small mouth bass fishing" and typed in "fishing" you would probably not get the results you were seeking. Do you see what I mean? Taken one step further, if you wanted information on "small mouth bass fishing in the Columbia River" that is what you would type in the search engine to get relative information. In today's Internet marketplace you will need to focus on a pretty tightly targeted niche market to succeed in obtaining organic traffic (from the search engines) that you should desire. Why search engine traffic? Because search engine traffic is by far the easiest to make money with.

What tools can you use to find money making niche markets? I can't see paying for something you can get for free, that's why I use Google's keyword tool, if nothing else it's a good place to start. Try to target relevant keywords and phrases that look as though they will be profitable ie. "I want to buy" "where to find" "best price for" you get the idea. To get the most accurate results be sure to use the "exact match" option. I would go after some less competitive keywords especially when your just starting out. Try building your site around, say 10-20 long-tail keywords that are relevant to each other. Use these keywords in post titles, body text, and anchor text (the links back to your blog).

Finding money making niches isn't really that difficult, just take your time, and do your homework, because targeting an unprofitable niche takes just as much time as targeting a money-maker.
