How To Choose A Good Blogsite

Filed in: CPA Marketing, Health, Internet Marketing, List Building, PPC, ReviewPress, SEO, Social marketing by Emmanuel Mba on 11-04-09

Now that blogging has risen to such an amazing level of popularity, which no one could have possibly predicted, more and more people and business owners are setting up blogs, and for a variety of reasons. Some turn to free blog hosting sites, and while the attraction to these sites is rather obvious, there can be pitfalls encountered that would not be a problem when using one of the professional services. If you plan on making a blog profit, then weighing your options before you venture in is a wise idea.

Some who are into blog writing don't feel that a larger, well known site is enough of a selling point to convince them; especially when they are looking to make a blog profit. Those who choose to go with smaller and sometimes newer blog hosting sites do so for many reasons, but perhaps the biggest advantage is a fairly unusual one; many blog writers tend to believe that the internet is a place where the underdog has a much stronger chance of success, and by choosing one of the smaller blogging sites for hosting, they are buying into that underdog mindset.

If your plan is to make money from advertising, then for the most part, the free blogging sites should be avoided. Although they might put advertising on your page, they do this as a trade, in order to offer you the free service. You are not permitted to do any advertising at all. One of the only free blogging services that will allow Google Adsense is www.blogger.com. This site is owned by Google, so you can almost guarantee that your blog is going to be listed in the search engines rather quickly.

If you do try the free blogging sites and find that they don't provide the blog profit you are looking for, then there are affordable professional services for your needs. With free or pay sites, the major point to consider is reliability. With pay sites, they will guarantee you up to ninety-nine percent of up time; which is the time that your blog will be in operation. Many free hosting sites offer little in the way of guarantees.
